wow, I haven't blogged in a very long time.. Things have been extremely busy for me, both at work and with the photography, so I haven't had much time to blog. So, i re-visit my blog with this entry.

I did a wedding last weekend (03.17.2007) for Harvard Photography and had a blast. The couple were pretty nervous at first, or at least the groom was. Maria (the bride) wasn't even phased by the idea that in a moments time she would be getting married.

anyway, here are some shots i wanted to share with you all.

here's a picture of the maid of honor and her family:

here's a picture of Maria before the wedding. We were having fun taking different shots around the church and like I said, she was very relaxed. Which is pretty odd for a bride, since they're usually the ones who are stressed about making sure the wedding day progresses flawlessly.

A full shot of the beautiful bride:

This has been the second time shooting at St. Denis Church, and i absolutely love this church. The inside of church is spacious and beautiful. I also love the surronding grounds because of the great scenery and the well kept greenery.

Unfortunately we had to leave St. Denis Chruch like 5 minutes after the wedding, which was weird. The reason they had to leave, was the limo that they rented had to be at another location and it couldn't wait another 20 minutes for me to finish taking pictures at the church.

So, our only other alternative was to find another location at the Marriot hotel where they stayed. Unfortunately, a steakhouse was the only place available which provide even some nice shot locations.

Here is where the reception took place, at Avalon which is oddly located directly across from the Pomona race track. The interior and exterior of the Avalon look great, but i was a little nervous of the surronding location. It looked as if there were abadoned stands from a fair. I wanted to use another location to shoot romantics, but there was nothing available.

In the end, I had to make the best with what was available to me at the time, and i made sure to include the couple in all of the discussions and decisions throughout the day. Luckily everything ended up without a hitch.

Hopefully the next wedding will provide better scenery.

Thank you for visiting.
